Subject	Need a fast answer - Paint Heat Shields?

Message	What are the manifold and precat heat shields made from? I wire brushed them to clean them and they look nice just burnished - if they are aluminum or other nonferrous metal I think I'll leave them. BUT if they are goint to rust, I need to paint now before installation. TIA
